Default 93 zj spray on bedliner??

i have a 93 zj 2 different colors of white no rust and want to change the color. im thinking of taking the black spray on bed liner and painting my zj with it. haha seems funny but then i don't worry about scratching it and its pretty durable. my roommate just coated his bumpers and grill with it but it looks cool. any thoughts on it? just wondering.

How bad of variance is there between the 2 different colors of white?? Pics maybe? I'm not a big fan of Lining the whole thing, but have seen others do it, and some complain of it "clumping" off...If you do go through with it make sure you prep it right.

Yeah, I can see your dilemma. I'd paint it too, dunno about the liner, but I'd definitely paint

I have added bed liner to a small portion of my lower doors and it looks alright. I don't thikn it's the way to go in your case though. It may add weight and drag and in turn, reduce your MPG. I would go flat black or a camo style but that's 4 colors. Probably what your trying to get away from. I think flat black may look like primer and put you in the "Honda that has new bumpers and never finished the job" category. With that said I would go camo.

I like flat black, and paint your wheels flat also. But it's difficult to pull off with out tiger striping. If you did want to bedline the whole thing, take a look at the raptor liner kits. They're tintable so you could do flat black, drab green or some other bad *** color. I've seen a couple of cars done in it and it came out pretty dope. One was a GTI and everyone slammed him for doing it, but once he post pics everyone was in praise on how good it looked.

Thanks, Its Rhino line type spray in bed liner for truck beds. Have a friend who has a shop that sprays them. To do it you have to sand all the paint off, down to the bare metal. Ruff it up good to have a lot a surface area for the stuff to stick to and tape it like a regular paint job with tape that has a wire in it to cut a fine line when u pull it off. The stuff sticks to everything but plastic. This was a while back and Its not as shin'y now but it still looks cool. Best mod Ive done.

i wouldn't do a thing to it , just wait for the paint to get really beat or scratched up then camo it or go flatblack( maing sure you prepp the paint will make the difference between an ok job and a **** job.. thats my 2 cents!
