33's or 35's???

Default 33's or 35's???

Ok here's the deal. I'm on 33's right now with stock gears and I have ZERO issues on the road. I drive like an old man, hardly hit the highway and when I do I can go 70mph just fine and dont want to go any faster.

My question is, how much bigger will 35's "feel" than my 33's? I'm about to buy some KM2s and noticed the price between the 33's and the 35's are about nothing. So, why not go for the 35's? I almost never go offroad mostly because I just dont get the chance to. I will if I can but since this is my dd it wont be too crazy. I'll upgrade to an 8.8 and regear eventually but for now would the 35's be so bad?

Let me know what you guys think.

35's will be alright, there is a guy on here who has 35's and stock gears and cruises down the high way.... I would do it

Which transmission do you have? It would be easier with a manual transmission, until you change gears. BTW, you might want to use a GPS for your speed until you get the gears and speedometer changed.

I've run 31's, 33's and 36's. 36's feel A LOT bigger than 33's, and the noise and vibration at 40mph plus is a lot more intense. I loved the 36's, but if you're driving the vehicle every day, they require more gas, and your ride will be like a buckboard. If you're young, and your have no back issues, you'll be fine. If you have any back issues, enjoy the 33's for all they give you.

no sense in going with 35's if you dont go offroad. 35s have been nothing but problems for me

i'm on 36's with stock gearing and can cruise along on the highway just fine.
just watch your air pressure when going with larger tires, use less air pressure.

for street driving on my bias iroks, i run about 14psi. any more than that, i'm all over the road and it rides like a lumberwagon.

You will be fine. You said you don't race around every were so the loss in street performance isn't an issue. And if you go off road just use 4low.

when i was on 35s with 3:55s i had to wheel in 4 lo to be able to really do anything

(for the noobs) 4hi should only be used for flat access trails where you can travel at speed.
