well then i'll stop soaking it. just figured since it was recomended for everything else, this wouldn't be any different. by the way, any recomendations for which control arm bushings to get and also, do you have the tool to get them out?

That all depends on what your plans are are you lifting or staying stock ive got a set of poly bushing ill unload for 40 bucks fit stock arms they were in my jeep for about a year up graded to better if your interested
i may go with that. i'm not planning on lifting for a long time and when i do, it's only gonna be about 2 inches or so. most likely will go with OME, but i'm gonna see how much stock replacements will be and i'll let you know if i want your polly bushings.

the ones I got insert into factory sleeves which eliminates bending the arm when pressing out old bushings. ...its almost easier to just buy new arms instead of going with stock bushing again...jm2cw
good to know. I'll talk to my wife and convince her i need them. (money and jeep parts are touchy subjects at the moment)

she hasn't experienced it yet. we take her car everywhere because of the mpg's. i think we might just have to take a little drive on the highway with it...... "hey babe, lets go see you sister.... I feel like driving the jeep"......

My friend bought a boat a week ago, and I had to pick it up using the Cherokee. (His Wrangler is not very comfortable) So we drove from Altamonte to Inverness, which is quite a haul. It decided it was going to overheat on the way there. Popped the hood, waited 15 minutes, started it it up, and went to the next exit with no problem. I had plenty of coolant, and I have LeBaron hood vents right above the motor. But I stopped and did the step off mod using washers to space out the hood from the brackets. I also pulled off the rubber seal on the back to give it the best chance of air escaping. That solved the problem, no more issues there or back.
However, I have had an issue with a clicking sound when turning the steering wheel back and forth when stopped or at low speeds. There is a bit of play where my track bar attaches to the frame, but could this really be the culprit of a clicking sound that I can feel through the steering wheel and echoes through the entire engine compartment?
And I did try searching this, and unfortunately this forum compiled all of the technical questions into a single thread, so you cannot search properly.
