I was on a delivery run and had my scanner on. Heard a purse snatching go out on the radio. Canine in the area and picked up on the scent. Then, all I hear on the radio is suspect in custody with the dog barking in the background and suspect screaming lol

I would be careful with that officers don't like people that have scanners in there cars

It's not illegal. Besides, I use it for work. Second, if he doesn't like that then he won't like my siren unit along with the dash strobes and deck strobes. I use them all for work, the lights are orange. As long as a scanner is not hardwired and portable, it's not illegal. Lastly, I don't have a record and I have a pretty good family background with the LEO's in my area. If you know me well enough you know exactly what I'm talking about m

Just went and signed the lease for my new shop...finally a place of my own to play with all my toys and not just some...
Starting to move in tonight, awesome feeling... Now I can really start to get into the MJ!
