Maybe because I'm spoiled by the 4.0 and 4.10 gears
It will never be a 4.0L or have that kind of feeling, it's still a 4cyl.

Valvetrain and internal components are identical to 4.0L components. Only internal difference is crankshaft and camshaft. (Duh!...lol)

OUTLAW thanks again for helping me out the other day, but now whenever I turn left something pops in the front driver side. Sounds like my jeep is popping its knuckle. Just one pop every time I turn left. Let me know if y'all have any ideas.
Thanks!
I would check your track bar in frame mount. If it the original one. It could be wallowed out like mine was. Best thing to do it replace your track bar and frame mount with a double sheer. I went the touch countrys double sheer. But I'd recommend IROs, double sheer. Thoe my rough country has been fine. Also check your tre, as well as your draglink as it could be moving around like my old one was when i first got it. Basically what I'm saying is go over every steering, and front suspension component of it has anything to do with keeping it stright laterally.

P.s. ohh yea make shure your axles centered and not shifted to one side. Or eles the spring will run up on the side of the frame. Wich can sound like a popping noise when giving over speed bumps.

Looks good I might say so myself...gottta figure a tag telocati N solution...

Also was wiring up the led lights up front and tried figuring out how to remove this tab for the button panel and it doesn't have the clip like the older models does anybody know a solution?

In the pic below you can tell I've already tried prying on it to see if it breaks but no luck...

That one is looking good!

Basslicks, might have to get some cut off discs for my dremel that I forgot I even had....

Also, got a mysterious oil leak...but not dropping oil (did oil change yesterday and only had maybe 2-3 quarts come out to the 6 quarts I put in about 3k miles ago...
Valve cover gasket not leaking (replaced)
Rear main is not leaking (replaced from PO)
Might be oil adaptor seals as the cables to the starter have a little residue on it
Checked plugs and nothing shows the rings leaking
And it's not smoking neither I'm confused

Damn. Great day with all the kids today. Haven't got to see them in a while with my busy schedule. Took them all fishing today and they loved it.
The rustbucket MJ hasn't moved in a little over a week now. I just really haven't had any interest in getting it 4x4 or lifted lately. Been spending all my free time and money on the kids, to me, that's better than a chunk of metal.

Man, that's a head scratcher. Check the OFA and the pressure sender. They're both in that area.

Definitely agree with you man. Time with the kids is time you'll never get back. Gotta get all you can while you can.
