I tignted that jam nut after the video, on the trackbar. I think well this is just a theorie. I think that track bar needs to be re adjusted. I think the axles to far over to the right, and needs to be moved to the left. I think that will fix some of the slop thats going on in the draglink. I think a properalignment shop should be able to take care of thoes issues. I noticed the left sway back link had been rubbing on the side of the unibody frame in the front. Thats whu i think it needs to be pushed over to the left

Just take bar off from what ever end come off easier. then start engine and turn steering wheel Body will move over axle . Get it centered as good as you can then shut truck off and get steering to lock. Then adjust bar to fit tighten every thinng up. Go buy lunch with money you saved.

Redneck alignment. Ive already thought of doing it. I use to do it that way with my other jeeps. Just coming off a deployment makes you want to be lazy lol
Im actually thinking of changing all that to a over the knuckle setup. Its a better design

We were just over in Bulgaria for some training. Long story short, steering piece broke on the LT and I's HMMWV. Motorpool Sgt said "We gotta tow this or the tires will get torn up." I bet him his unopened RedBull that I could align it right there. He said it's on. Did the redneck alignment. He said "That RedBull is in the middle of the Contact Truck. When I went to grab it, he jumped in my HMMWV and took off! Lol

Do I ? No. Here's the bracket this is pretty basic stuff to correct TB length if yer axle is sticking out to the side.

Dear god were the 1st gen HMMWV's terrible. That Detroit "powered", and I use the word power loosely, is pure garbage. The 2nd gen Optimizer 6500 (6.5L IDI or Turbo MPI Duramax, depends on the model) ones are better.
