Fellas....I have a question...
The last couple days I've been noticing my temp levels passing over 210...just about 220...the electric fan is working but doesn't drop the temps...
I have yet to refresh the cooling system which I will do this weekend...
Any body have any clues?

Oh and it's only happens at highways speeds and with the a/c on....

 

This is at idle...I sprayed the radiator and ac condenser with water and it cooled it down a bit but not much...

 

Mine goes just over 210 sitting at a long light with the AC on, but then comes right back down as soon as I start driving. Usually when temps are rising while driving at highway speeds, it's a flow problem, in most cases I've found the radiator itself to be the culprit.

 

Just picked up my "Tiny Camper Teardrop" trailer from the Tiny Camper Company in Clermont, FL. today. figured I'd share this with you guys in case anyone is into camping, this is a great trailer to bring just about anywhere, including mild trails. Yeah, I didn't have this new Jeep yet to go to Jeep beach this year and sold my last XJ just before Jeep Beach last year.....lol Bad Timing!

As far as my XJ, It is a 2001 "Sport". I just picked it up a couple weeks ago in Jax. The people I bought it from had owned it for the last 10 years and it was well maintained and documented. (rare find).

It has 123k on it, 4.0 , Auto, power windows, locks, tilt, cruise, AC, etc, brand new 235/75r15 AT tires, new headliner, new sunvisors, tinted glass, JVC stereo, Mopar class III hitch.
