Oooh me . Like I said before may be a clogged port or jacket causing the overheating.

 

I flushed it and everything that came out of every orfice was clear and clean. Looked brand new and clean. I even started it and let the temp come up to 180 on a temp gun without the W/P in and flushed it while hot, still nothing came out.

 

Did you do a leakdown test on the cylinders? And also your head may have a hairline crack in it. Metal expands as it gets hotter so run a lealdown test while cold then get the motor to temp and run again.

 

Did not do a leakdown test on it yet, Compression was good with the engine cold. I changed the spark plugs and checked it while cold. All cylinders on were 135-140. engine does not run bad or use any coolant.
