Warm water with dish soap (it's a degreaser) in a spray bottle, and a wet/dry vacuum. Spray on and vacuum out simultaneously , repeat if necessary. Use a white cloth or brush to scrub stains.

The foaming carpet cleaner that has a brush on the cap works real well with a shop vac or car wash vac. Prepare to have to treat stains 2-3 times but the foam will lift the dirt right up

Great. You're really helping me look forward to my trip in May. I have no interest in going, but my mother-in-law wants to visit NYC, and see the museums and stuff before she dies. So my wife made arrangements and booked a week in Manhattan. Yippee😒

That part is great (the museums) it's the over crowding and excessive noise I don't like.

It's not THAT bad...Just download the nyc app i forgot what's it's called exactly...
And be prepared to walk a lot wear comfortable shoes...i went 2 years ago may with a group of friends and they were all complaining about their feet hurt with uncomfortable shoes...oh and watch the weather...it would be 80s in the day and 30s in the morning...
Oh and if you plan to do Empire State Building and the Rockefeller building...do it early in the morning...because at night there were 3 hours wait in line...
The buildings, the history, the trains, the crowds...but I had a great time I don't plan to go back unless it's to watch a Yankees game or go to the garden and watch the Knicks play...
We're staying at the Marriot, 3 blocks east of Central Park. Basically, right behind the Waldorf. So, if I remember my NYC geography, that's midtown, and we're only a short cab ride from Time Square, and and only a bit further from Battery Park. Either way, I'm ready to walk.
I do know that the first thing Im gonna do, is find a cop, and ask him where HE would go for a cup of coffee and a bagel.

Well I'm actually in NYC right now. I'm here with my wife for our anniversary. She has been wanting to come for years so this year I found some cheap flights and booked it. Wish I had heard about the peaceful uptown! We are literally 50' away from time square at the edition hotel, it never gets quiet! I hate the overcrowding and noise but other then that it's a beautiful city. Spent most of the day in Central Park yesterday and on my way to ground zero this morning. So any suggestions on places I should see before I leave guys? Or places to eat!?
Oh and couldn't help myself while I was in Central Park I had to see the Ghostbusters building!
