That's all I could pull it out. I yanked on it to try n get it extended.

Use a long screwdriver and try to pry it open that shaft is sapose to completely come apart....when you do try looking inside to clean out dirt or mud stuck there and re grease it to slide easily

This hole gets drilled from the bits your bringing should be covered. Remember hes just a saleman that drives a wrangler.....
