As much as i would love to join you it is a bit too far for a weekend trip. a couple Thousand miles. When i was station at Hurlbert fld we would hit Eglin all the time and hang out at the tressels and swim or Turkey creek. Is there still a place to play out behind Hurlbert or did they build a housing development? Pos some pics it would be great to see if it has changed.

no wheeling at all behind hurlburt, they finally fenced it all off. the trussels is off limits also. that whole entire area is closed now along with a big chunk by duke field is off limits due to the 7th special forces compound. but theres still a few good places to go ride around. theres more open during hunting season but then you have to worry about pissing hunters off when your in their hunting areas.

I'm not sure yet. Delends on who all decides to go. I was thinking like 12:30 or possibly a little later because I have a few things to do first thing in the morning.

Damn that sucks there was a lot of good wheelin out there. Thx for the update tho. We used to run the powerlines also some of the sand hill climb could be challenging at times.

FL jeeper90:
I'm down for an afternoon run after 1:00. I have church in the a.m.

mudrunneraz:
theres lots of wheeling area off 87. I got my expedition stuck off the powerlines. all the cool creek crossings and hills behind the val-p ball parks are closed off, those were a blast

There looks like there are a lot of places right off 87 to ride. But I don't know that side all that well. And where you wanna meet up? I got a couple buddies that are gonna ride out, which way is better to come? Up interstate to crestview, or 98?

I live in Milton, so it would be just right up the street for me to take 90 to 87.
