Wish I knew. I was driving it a few days ago and it just started running like it was on 3 cylinders so I got to a buddies house and messed with it for 3 days trying to fix it but I couldn't figure anything out so I finally called a tow truck and gave up here about an hour ago.

not sure i want to go the hack and tap route but want you want for the front shaft

I'd just go hack n tap.
Just as good as the sye if you install it right.
And you don't have to take the t case apart to install

I wouldn't say just a good but they work fine. Mine has held up to all the abuse I've thrown at it and it was way easier to install than the full kit.

 

Looks like I may be picking up a rear Xj d44 sooner than later to start building
