If it isnt running like dog ****, and doesnt leak fluid like a boss then id consider it.
Hell..my buddy was selling a 4.0 with 120k on it for 300 bucks lol

^^^AGREED, also a jeep is easier to get sold than that 4-wheeler, i would be all over it if i was you

dont worry about me i have a off road rig, get it if you dont then i will and sell it to you, but its going to cost more then $1000 when i sell it

I wouldn't go over $1k for one with engine noise, but I wouldn't rule it out completely either. Even with a knocking bearing it could still run fine for years. It's not a DD rig, and another 4.0L or a rebuild isn't too expensive. I wouldn't give away your 4-wheeler either though.

1988 on 33s with small lift. It's blocks in the rear unfortunately but that's easily fixable. Not a pretty thing but I drove it today and it drives really really well and runs like it's brand new. It needs tires something fierce too but that's no big deal.

I'd imagine a d35..but could have a 44.

I wish I had some $ for some axles. I need a project.

Yeah I figure worst case scenario is the posi lock kit for the front end but as of right now it works fine. I told you it's not pretty but I was extremely impressed by how well it ran and the drivetrain under it.
