He's asking 2,500 but he told me he'd take 2k for it so he's pretty firm on his 2k price tag.

Do you dudes think itd be worth my time to pickup an 8.8 with 373s and a factory LSD?

Id obviously regear it to 488s when I go 35s... but will I still be able to keep the factory LSD?

Its only 100 bucks..

Thoughts?

Shouldnt be that hard..

Take off the U bolts, cut the brake lines and d shaft, done.

Be sure you get the drive shaft flange...

The u joint is pressed in it like the one in the end of an xj driveshaft and it bolts to the flange on the axle.

Looks like this.



It's on the axle end of the drive shaft. A stock XJ u-joint fits in it so you just put it on the end of your current drive shaft. I believe it's a 10mm 12 point bolt.
