i take I80/94 in to halsted it took me 1 1/2 hours to get to work yesterday stuck in that traffic there was just pile up after pile up and every body trying to get a look . thats why i hate the snow not to mention i was born in june so naturally i like summer more

ill try and talk to the hosiers for ya but im still learning the language my self, do you take any E-ways to work

When it get crappy, why don't you take Ridge over to Halsted? That or Rt.6 past River Oaks...
I got a straight shot down 147th to Oak Park to 159th to Harlem. When I have to hit one of the airports, that's when I get cranky, esp in winter. Driving the Jeeps on the highway is fun, but not as nimble as I need it, and the Monte isn't all that good in lots of snow (Oh, it's great in winter, but anymore than 4" and I'm plowing the streets).

 

that time I80/94 flooded i was taking 159st all the way in but that can be a pain also ,yesterday i got on before i noticed it was backed up and just decided not to get off and go the back roads ridge rd sucks when it one lane through Lansing and Thornton

i know what you mean about the monte, driving my wifes cobalt i plow snow all day

 

i the past 4 days we have gotten a total amount of 13" with temps -8 and wind chill of -30...jeep is having a hard time to start, but empty unplowed parking lots are my playgrounds...literally just herd, six more inches by saturday night!

 

Sheesh..and to think I was complaining about it only being 3 degrees F yesterday morning.

 

It's warmed up here today... It's 10 outside right now... That's like a 20* warm up from yesterday!

^^ hey i got HIT this morning just under a foot on top of what we already had so if thats still comming than you better watch out for that it was light snow though so it came off the truck pretty easy

 

man that sucks, i was expectin some 30+ degree weather to get rid of this junk snow

 

It was getting warm enuff to melt out there today, but I'd ask Rew, he was getting snowed on when we had a sunny day... All I know it's like 3 out right now, and we're supposed to warm up today and tomorrow, then get cold again sat & sun... And they said something about snow on mon & tues...
