Well days off May be a little more difficult to get in a few weeks. I may be moving up to full time at work and really that makes me the only counterperson at work (workin at oreilly's right now) so hopefully I'll get some trips or coinciding days off for trips.

Hey gang I've posted in the tech thread for help and 118 views I would think someone would have replied with something . any ways

My 95 Cherokee was in a minor single wreck prior to me getting it, the front corner and rear corner were crunched in, wire harness doesn't appear to be damaged. to my knowledge everything was working prior to this . My headlamps are inop no low or hi beams, I pull out the headlight switch and the dash lights work, as well as the rear driving lights, nothing in front, no parking lamps no head lamps ( couldn't find anything in search ) . second issues the turn signals. 4way hazards work normal, left side works normal, right side ( accident side) will flash weak and the left side is flashing as well. now for some reason my head lights come on when I turn the 4ways on . I've checked the fuses and they looked good , could check them again . Id need to get this fixed so I can start driving this as my current car is going thru Oil now . any help / ideas ? Thanks !!

My bet would be a ground not hooked up somewhere and your headlights are grounding thru your hazard lights. If you got a bad ground for your headlight but not for your hazards your headlights could be grounding thru the hazard ground making your hazards dim.

Idk. I'm no electrical expert. Get a Haynes manual and start going thru diagrams. Diagnosis on Cherokees can be tons of fun... Enjoy. Welcome to the life of an xj owner

I would be checking that headlight harness. The plug is right by right.by the air box. You can remove the whole front clip as an assembly, do that way you can get the headlight harness out and inspect.

Next I think I would check the headlight switch itself.

I looked at the harness when I took what was left of the old clip off, suppose I can check the connection by the air box . thanks for the tip

Well I pulled the airbox out and took the plug apart and its pretty nasty with corrosion So I'll start with this get it cleaned up ( once it stops snowing ) and go from there . hopefully this will be the problem though

Since I don't have a garage and didn't want to change my rear brakes out in this lovely weather, I went to where a buddy works and had them do them.
Come to find out my shoes were cracked and drums were shot plus my seals were leaking like mad.
So now I have an almost new rear axle lol. New shoes, drums, hardware, seals, bearings, cylinders, and gear fluid.
