On that note - talking bolts (in all situations):
Should I prepare myself and just get the new bolts or take my chances on the original? I mean, if I get all up in there and schit breaks, is my local NAPA going to have a drawer full of what I need??

Think I could get by with just doing a bastard pack until next year? Most of you guys saw my leaf springs at Haspin. I am moving to Louisiana, and being stranded on the highway with a fully loaded Jeep and a broken leaf spring does not sound good...
Also, which would be easier, a bastard pack, or doing full leafs?

Please hang on to the springs. I've had no time to get to a jy and if my truck don't sell soon, one of my jeeps is gonna get put up for a while. Probably the rig. My stock one only needs springs. My rig needs ubj lbj, bearings and axle u joints.

Depends on how much soaking with PB blaster. 90% of my bolts were threading out, 10% got seized to bushings. (leaf springs, shackles, trac bar) I would get whatever your gonna get into ahead of time. I already bought bolts for my springs. I'm expecting trouble.

I'll let you know when I get springy, maybe I fill the fridge fulla beer and get a hand yankin' em off, or fill a cooler and head north.
