Hey, you guys with HIDs or H4/bright headlights. Do you have any additional lighting? I'm thinking of adding some lights to my rack after my HIDs, but want to know how useful they'd be. I'll probably just end up with 4 AdvancedAuto lights for looks/no worrying of getting snagged, then maybe upgrade the bulbs to something brighter later on.

BTW my low beams are almost as bright as two of my 55w spot lights. I need to upgrade the bulbs to 100w lol

A few months ago I hit a tree with the front end. It bent the metal between the main frame rails. I pulled it out with a chain then cut it out. The frame is still like this. It has a 4.5 inch rough country short arm lift. Adjustable trac bar. No sway bar. (I have it but one of the quick discos bent) The brake pads are gone and brakes started grinding today. Has 33x12.5r15 kuhmo power gaurd a/ts. Front is probly 60-70% tread and back ones are almost bald. Tinted taillights turn signals and faded angry eye headlights. Front tow hook brackets. Hitch w/ 4 inch drop and 2 inch ball. Brand new farm and fleet platinum battery (best one) brand new 136 amp alternator. Brand new radiator. It has a 4 foot whip with mount and antenna wire up to front with cb but I can't get it to work right. For extra money I would throw in the sound system that is in it. It has an alpine head unit. 6.5 in alpine type r component speakers with kicker tweeters and crossovers. 5.25 jl tr component speakers. 12 inch brand new alpine type r in built to spec ported box. (The brand new model) Alpine 500 watt 2 channel amp. I would probly want 600 out of the system as it is all almost brand new. The jeep I would probly take 2 for as is

It is also an se not a sport. It has manual locks except the front are hooked into the viper security alarm with remote start. Manual windows also. 4.0l aw4 Dana 30 and Dana 35 gas tank skid. slip yoke eliminator with front driveshaft. Recent tune up with Bosch plugs. I run Lucas oil treatment through every oil change and change exactly every 3000 miles or less. K&n cold air intake.

Do you guys think it would be worth the extra money to me to fix her up a bit and then sell her? I would do the brakes, motor mount, grille, hood, shift solenoids and then sell her.

just keep her and fix her up. If you sell it always depends who you sell it to. if you sell it to a jeep guru you won't get as much. If you sell it to a rich kid that think it looks awesome because of the lift and stuff.....you're golden

as is I am buying the jeep for parts. id have to get it on a frame rack and make sure the unibody is not damaged more than the eye can see. sometimes if you hit things on an angle you tweak trans crossmembers and places you cant see but a laser can see. but fixing it. like he said someone that is a jeep or car buff looks and sees a new crossmember motor mount etc installed will know it had been wrecked. someone who is like ewww ahhhh and wants a lifted jeep would never know
