Illinois thread
Hey guys, it's been a while since I've been on here. Anyway, just started my XJ successfully for the first time in many months, it's been driven maybe 500 miles in the last two years. Anyhow, it appears my shift linkage to the x-case is goofed, of the Xcase is screwed. It pops out of 4 low and is just seems hard to put in 4HI or LO in general.
Does anyone have a shop or know a person in Northern IL ( I am in Waukegan ) that knows XJ's in an out and could work on the beast if I drop it off? I am willing to pay of course. I don't know the Jeep as well as I'd like, plus it won't fit in my garage, so working on it myself is a huge pain in the ***.
Appreciate any advice you guys have!

Ordered some 31x10.5x15 tread wright guard dogs from their blemish list. $475ish with free shipping. A bit nervous about retreads but saw plenty of rave reviews on them

showing off my welding i put together today. it's a 4 side windows with 36" door open. this type frame prob be install in school or business. this thing was heavy as hell took four of us to flip it over so i can weld the other side. it took me about 3 hours to finish. had to be accurate measurement and windows/door have to be square up and of course the hardest part was grind off the weld beads. have 17 three side frames due tomorrow. 5 are due 10 am
. they are easy frames i should be ok plus i got new helper finally.
