Threw on a flowmaster super 40 and a 2.5" turn down before the axle. New NGK V-power plugs, oil change, goodyear gatorback serpantine belt, pcv valve, pcv valve grommet, coolant flush, thermostat, and thermostat housing.
I have a 5gal Scepter MFC coming with a bunch of jagmte.com accessories. A 50" CREE led light bar, and holligan offroad light bar mounts. Those are my next two projects.
Trying to decide what rear spare wheel/tire carrier bumper i like. The TNT customs XJ winch front bumper is getting ordered soon.

Went to the Badlands over the weekend. Had seven Cherokees out on Saturday and four on Sunday. Ran parts of green, white and orange. Had a blast. My Jeep is still on jack stands, but I got to ride passenger and take vids and pics.
I'm right by 55 and 294. I guess there's one in summit but don't know of any others. The 91 I just scored has some cancer on the front pass door. I'd like to get a whole door before I repaint the truck
debating on what brand bedliner to buy. Thinking monstaliner or anothe from Colorado. I forgot the name their flyer and samples are on my desk at work.. They sell a smooth and grit version I was thinking of doing the whole thing with the grit version then painting over it with the smooth so it's not super abrasive. You guys have any ideas? Also what's the panel that is right between windshield and hood. It has a lil surface rust but I'm guessing it's not removable

Panel between windshield and hood is the cowl panel. The outter edges arent removable but the middle is, but that's plastic. I broke mine this weekend somehow. Pick and pull in summit is the closest to you. I like LKQ more then pick n pull, usually have more of a selection and a bit cheaper, but the closest to you I know of is on north ave, but I've never been to that one, only the one in blue island.
Cheap. Go to the one in summit I was there Sunday and there at least 5 '96 and earlier xj there. Also I'll post pic of the rear bumpe when I get off work someone want to try get it off. I'm not sure if it's home made or after market. Looks pretty beefy. The lkq in Chicago heights have a 4.5 rustys complete lift kits. You going to need sawzall and impact to get them off. I tried already but the sucker won't budge. The only thing I got off were track bar and front skid plate.
