If you want to sell it to a scrapper, put an ad on CL for like $350 and make sure you say it has no title. Otherwise, there's not a lot of places in Chicago that will take car bodies. There's Behr out in Rockford, but like I said, you'll need to cut it up.

got a text message from the guy that bought my '01 last year sent me this pic. he said he got T boned last friday. a ford escape blew a red light and hitted the xj right on the pass front side. the escape was total 
. damages to the xj: front axle bent, drag link broked, lower control arm ripped off, cracked rim, fender, header panel, and broken front drive shaft. wow that's pretty sad!!! he's planning to fix it back up after.

Jus the normal bs does the trans slip any knocks or tick in the motor how r the tires u know just routine things bc obviously if the trans or engine r messed up u dnt want it but xjs r great my old one had 230k on it wen i bought it n it never skipped a beat n my buddy jus bought one with 210k on it n everythings fine on it i mean if ur looking for a project tht one u posted looks like a good start

but he's fixing it up. he got farmer insurance and said his insurance will fix it and the other party will get the bill.
