Where you would trust them with your Cherokee?

I am in Rockford, Illinois.
Has to be a local shop.

Thanks!
Unit Bearings??? I wrote a write-up for this site a long time ago. Search the write-ups for U-joints on the Dana 30. The tool list is right in there... its a rather easy job to do.

Alignments? You are looking for someone that does 4wd alignments.

I'm getting ready to do my unit bearings myself. Looks real easy. Seems to me you'll need:

36mm axle nut socket
14, 15mm box wrench, 12pt for bearing bolts
12mm socket/box wrench for caliper bolts
Prybar
Torque wrench
Anti seize
Baling wire or old metal coat hanger to suspend the caliper from the spring
Whatever size socket for your lug nuts.

I plan to do one side at a time. Take my time and so on since my tools are close, and I have a garage to work in.

It depends on the year of your Jeep. The early years use a 7mm Allen wrench for the caliper bolts.
The bearing bolts are 13mm 12pt if my old memory hasnt failed me.

Yeah I agree on the 13mm 12pt for the bearing bolts, and like a 3/8s 12 pt for the caliper bolts. I have a late model so it's not got allens on it. I was just leaning towards how easy it's supposed to be. Plus ill get time to inspect my axle ujoints at the same time as my front brakes. I was guessing on the tools.
