198,000 hell yeah that's a lot of miles to me. just think of what else leaking or need to be replace that's he's not telling. he didn't even finish the build sure does trying to sell quick. i saw his ad back in october when i was looking for a xj. if he's expecting to get $2800 he should at least replace the shocks, alignment and fix the drive shaft or come down on the price, but he's firm on the price i won't bother him.

 

Hay so my new jeep chugs when I drive it also the rpms drop when ii push the accelerator. Also sometimes itll just die I had a buddy look and he said the crank position sensor. Honestly idk wth is happening any ideas? Pleaseee help

 

Things seem to demand a premium when it snows. Cheapest jeep I seen on CL my way is 5k with 150k...

 

I don't know much about jeeps. Seen other cars have trouble starting with a bad crank position sensor.

Probably list your mileage, engine, recent work. How's does it idle?

Sounds like something along the fuel/ignition/vacuum side of things to me... But I wouldn't quote me me on that

 

Its got 168xxx miles the idle is rough sometimes when its starts it refs to alnost 3000 rpms and will stay there unless I shift it into anything but park.

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Maybe check and see if the sensors in your throttle body are dirty

 

I have a question. Need to hit up a junkyard and the one in my town is closed in winter. Anyone know if any in rockford or roscoe are open during the winter aswell?
