I found out what was causing my wobble on the way to work these past 2 days...I remember hitting something hard on the trail a few months back, just now decided to shear off. My brother is pretty good at welding so we are going to cut off the old one and weld a new mount on. Thoughts on finding a replacement? I found Rusty selling some super heavy duty ones. Also only the passenger side is broke, the driver side is looking ok, would I be ok just replacing the one?

just replaced the fuel pump on the womans 98 cherokee and the pump is working and the fuel rail is full of fuel but all it does is:
hear the fuel pump turn on
cranks over
no spark
plugs are dry when i pull them out

I loaned mine to my son this morning. I died on him on I-90 near Rt 31.
It cranks fine, no fire. The voltage gauge on the dash reads low. Any ideas?

low voltage will usually mean the injectors wont open.

I am thinking if it just up and quit, could be the CPS. These sometimes go out without warning, and sometimes give hints they are about to go. The CPS not only wont fire the injectors, but it wont give the ECU the signal to fire the injectors, hence why the plugs are not wet, and no spark. Just a thought, as I had a similar issue on my '94, and the CPS seems to be where I would look first. There is a way to check it to see if its within specs but I don't have the information off hand.

By the way, I am Jeff, I live down near St. Louis, I have a Jeep and a Scout addiction, and I'm working on building up my '00 for offroad/DD as we speak, well sort of. Still trying to get all the parts together first, and then I will post up a true buildup thread.

Also Down & Dirty is hosting our monthly meet and greet tomorrow. It will be a Dylan's Pub in West Dundee. Come check the club out! Starts @ 4pm.
Is there anyone going to the meeting I could ride with?? I have a company truck, and I don't want to push my limits for where I can drive it. I don't take up much room. Im staying in Hillside, IL. I can be PM'd for more information. I'd really like to go since I pretty much have the weekend off.
