I was pissed I broke my mirror last night climbing a tree. all I was saying is, I think stock jeeps that are properly "set up" or budget boosted jeeps "well set up" can do a lot more than anyone gives credit for. first thing an old man told me when I was at a jeep show was "wheel that jeep until It breaks, do not ever change anyting till you cant go somewhere you need to go or it breaks. at the end of your build only you will know whats in it. and only you will know where you can and want to go. and you will go there, "only in a jeep". I build my jeps to that. my red jeep has 10 dollars in it. alone. and I do the work for 90% of it. I was just stating I FIRMLY believe a good driver good tires working 4x4 good u joints and so forth a 2'' lift with some flexy springs and soft leaves can go pretty far.

Listen kid, my parents don't pay my bills, last I checked I do. Also don't get it twisted kid, you work at a apartment complex and they take money off of your rent so the only thing you really cover in full is probably your Internet, cable and water. Kind of figured your XJ would be your street queen. Guess you wasted $30.00 huh?

look here GUY. work doest take money off my RENT. it comes out of my check. so instead of getting the 800 a month rent is they take it right out. I have heat electric Comcast I have doctor bills I have a pet dog I have groceries and all that GOOD ****. as for street queen. it definitely is. its a daily driver. my red jeep is getting taken apart and we are restubbing the rear and caging it. but for now im gonna tread lightly in my DD. if my truck wasn't broke or I had a house. with a garage to work on my jeep. I would of swapped everything over but I don't. so im working on building something cool. cuz my friends are fabricators. and wy did I waste 30 bucks? cuz the club has gone on 3 runs? and I couldn't make them. sorry I don't have any income but mine. and mine doesn't always make ends meet end to end. so if I have work at my business I GO. if I cant wheel that weekend im sorry. I tried helping find donations for the benefit, as my part of the club. ifi cant be there in person I try to do the best I can. some of those donations where not good and I think it was poor on the business owner. but that reflects on me. but you know I asked 20 something business' and I myself have a donation for Darrel when I see him at a run. idk why you get all pissed off over me saying that I think you don't need a 30 foot lift and gumbo mudders to go down Karnage. its mostly body damage cuz it narrow. ive wheeled in some cool places. ive wheeled at places that suck. but most of all I know what my rig can do and I can build it on my own 90 percent of the time. if you have ever seen me wheel a rig maybe you could say that it isn't possible. but throttle control, brake bias, and other key driving experiences teach you to take cars that are not up to par to places others couldn't imagine. wether your in a 800hp truck or a 200 hp toy hauler. idc what it is. driver is way more of the game than the rig will ever be. no offense to kotsie. but ask him the first few times him and I played around h eneeded some help to learn you don't need to go fast, less throttle usually better, etc... and I showed him those things so he can learn from my years of driving competitively. this maybe a new "hobby" to me. but I think racing a 24 hour road race. turning as many laps as you can in 1.5 hours at road America is a lot more difficult than rock crawling. physically and mentally. so say what you want and w/e but really. im just saying a stock suspension rig that is set up isn't a total Piece of ****. cuz a 3in lift is really helping im sure.....
I have a rig with 8.5 lift built trans, high torque motor, moly axle shafts, regeared, etc etc its sitting next to my bluw rig. theres 10k in that jeep. and that's when I decided to stop counting. its no pissing contest who spends more I know you do. but seriously I guess we may have to find a stocker and rock her

aren't these forums for talking about these things! dude I took my 36'' llifted xj to moab last week and wheeled only rolled twice. o my stocker I broke 67 u joints butt made it home..... idk guess this is a tech thread not a BS thread.... well I don't see any tech stuff here and theres a space called tech threads.... so lmk what its all about and I will gladly go to the BS thread and talk to guys that like wheeling and seeig what things can do and cant do and work and don't work.... sorry I have a interest in a all homebrew/junkyard build. rig for under a grand that's very capable..
