not one of you has a built motor trans or twin stick I don't think it is that bad. its tight quarters with lots of ruts. find me a 500 dollar jeep. on craigs idk condition as long as I can add tow points in the rear front winch bumper and cut some fendeers. how much you wanna throw down on this? 1000 and the jeep winner takes all??? lmk

 

I really think you'd be very hard pressed to finish it with that setup. I ran on 3" lift, 33's, and a rear locker and the guys I were with have made that run into a bonfire story.

 

im looking for a POS jeep. ill traile rit down and try it. atleast I can say I did that if I don't make it. plus I can take off sway bars, remove shocks etc etc.... theres a lot left to a Cherokee

you are right. I do have excuses. I have a full time job my own business and bills that my parents do not pay. I give you a hard time and you always get defensive. this forum is for fun. I think it be cool to take a true budget build down. my new rig WOULD NOT go down purgatory or carnage or anything like that. its too nice. I was pissed I broke my mirror last night climbing a tree. all I was saying is, I think stock jeeps that are properly "set up" or budget boosted jeeps "well set up" can do a lot more than anyone gives credit for. first thing an old man told me when I was at a jeep show was "wheel that jeep until It breaks, do not ever change anyting till you cant go somewhere you need to go or it breaks. at the end of your build only you will know whats in it. and only you will know where you can and want to go. and you will go there, "only in a jeep". I build my jeps to that. my red jeep has 10 dollars in it. alone. and I do the work for 90% of it. I was just stating I FIRMLY believe a good driver good tires working 4x4 good u joints and so forth a 2'' lift with some flexy springs and soft leaves can go pretty far.

 

Climbing or backing into a tree,. 8-) suppose all the same ,.
