hope you got a wheel in time man. So i have found out that the cluck i thought was a upper rear shock mount issue is most likely due to broken/cracked rear shackles. And the fact that the bushings are still old rubber bushings cant be good. It sounds like the far back. Like its hitting the bottom rear bumper bracket bolt or the shackle box itself. Maybe its just moving side to side. It doesnt look good to me and these pics are iffy but they are obviously scary. So im goin to look into new shackles/spacer 1.5" maybe 2". SYE, stock front drvieshaft and new bushings. See how it goes.

Just stumbled across this forum (and Great Lakes section) after lurking Ohio4x4 for awhile. Nice to see a few set of Jeeps still active in central Ohio. From the pictures looks like a good time was had. Looks way more friendly than the death trap behind Wal-Mart, and much better than the spot out in Galloway. Happy wheeling fellas.

The crowd Wal-Mart attracts is 'unique' to put it nicely. But I still occasionally swing by when I see large groups out there. Last summer there was a pretty decent amount of trucks pulling trailers with some over the top big trucks there and just unloading them behind Wal-Mart. We'll walk down and watch them play.
But to be honest I usually dirt bike more than I wheel, I've fallen in love with Wayne National Forest for Friday/Saturday/Sunday excursions. If I could find an area like Wayne but big enough for vehicles I'd probably stop riding altogether. It would give me more of an incentive to dump some more coin in the old clunker. But after all is said and done, I don't advise going to Wal-Mart for anyone. But as said before, I'll still swing by to see if anything is going on (It's right on my way to work).

I know there have been blotchy talks about Haspin. I was just curious, how many Ohio folks have made the journey on out there? I've heard nothing but good things about it. With the Jeep also not being my DD I'd love to trailer it out with the dirt bike and have a good ole time.

I know exactly what you mean. As far as finding an equivalent trail, I'm not holding my breath. Don't get me wrong I completely am in love with my Jeep and the trails I do take her on. I just happen to ride more than I wheel at this time. I only have a few buddies with vehicles they don't mind getting scratched up. We still do head out occasionally but those times are now becoming few and far between.
