I can relate, the point I want my Jeep at is a ways down the road. Also for better or worse the Jeep isn't my DD so when she gets banged out of shape I'm able to park her and on the weekends put my time into getting it back on the road. Just yesterday the alternator froze up on her (Read: water damage heh) and snapped my serpentine belt. So it's sitting at my buddies barn waiting for tomorrow to come so I can tear back into it.
If I ever get my u-joint issue under control, I will have to come out and join you guys for some fun.
Until then, it's just to and from work for me unless I take out the Sol(but that's a different crowd).

So some spineless bastar* broke into my jeep last nite and ripped out my CD Deck. Luckily CPD picked two 16 yr old white kids with it. Got my stuff back they got RSP (reciving stolen Property) Driving without a radio i picked up on a weird noise that sounds like a STRUT Went bad. (XJs dont have struts) But it sound like that. IDK. Need a new driver side axle ujoint. But i just wanted to keep in touch. Lock your doors!!!

yea its deff my axle joint. I replaced the passenger side and now i have play in the front DS and when i spin it you can watch the play in the axle joint
I have been quite on here because my Jeep has been having all sorts of issues... Front u-joints, hub assemblies, and now knuckles. I have had the front end taken apart about 4 times now. I am chalking it up to spending so much time submerged in the mud and water lately. And yes, it is my DD.
Good news is that I bought and installed a great pair of axle seals. Greaseable and double axle seals mean I overfilled my diff when I changed the fluid. Really nice.

I've got 33x12.50x15r with 4" BS and i don't eat up hubs. And my toe is dead set at 0 degrees. And my caster is dead on 7 degrees. My camber is +1.3 on both sides cuz my ball joints are bad. You might be dog tracking or something

I still plan on doing something....at this point its just finding time to work on it (working out of town sucks). I gotta finish up the zj steering......and if that cures my dw ill be good to go. If it doesn't.....then my repair list gets long again.
Funny....I bought this jeep to be a dd.....but thank god I have another vehicle.

I put on an iro track bar a month ago....got the steering assembly on last night and did a quick toe in measurement.....2 inches longer in the back of the tire. Needless to say I was a bit shocked. I tried for a minute to adjust the tie rod but it wasn't agreeing....at which point I was already a bit frustrated.
So next weekend I'm gonna fix my toe in and test it out. I haven't checked yet, but I hope that tie rod has 2 inched of adjustability in it....if not I'm screwed
