Hey. I know this might be a long shot. Im deployed to Iraq right now and I found an XJ on CL. Its in West Lansing. Is there anyone local that could take a look at it and possibly tell me if its a go or no-go maybe take it for a spin if the guy will let ya. If it will work as a Daily Driver great, if not maybe a dedicated wheeler. I would be willing to pay for gas/time.

I am about an hour away too I got no problem going for ya. I did two med tours on an aircraft carrier and then time in the guard too. 2000-2007

 

Thanks guys. I GOT IT! Long story short. My wife picked it up yesterday. She talked the guy down to $550 because it has bald tires, 202k on it and both of the back door windows wouldnt roll down ! The guy just did a complete tune-up and a ton of other things that would have cost more than I paid for it WITH receipts to prove it. It was snowing so, when she drive it home she used the 4x4 and said it worked as good as can be expected with bald tires. Now the only question is will this be my DD or trail rig. Guess it depends on what else I find. It's great when the car gods shine upon you.
