There is just they are usually hours away north or south and no one has any private land to go on. Sure there are some local events, Procs isn't open yet, Mudfest isn't till like October... My friend of a friends farm is spur of the moment and not in advance at all... its difficult in wiscompton...

There are fields everywhere where I live but I'd rather not **** off the farmers or hurt their income.
Edit: actually I'm mistaken. There's a spot in cedarburg that is/was open on Sundays for people to play around in trails and mud. It was free and lots of fun.

Only legal one I know of even remotely close to me is the cliffs in Illinois.

There's Mudfest too but not till fall...
my group of buddies are headed to 3 fires for memorial weekend, they are having some events, camping is like 20 bucks for the weekend, no power or water but we were there for TGW last summer and it was a blast! that is however a little far drive north for you in southern wis.

speakin of bark river, anyone goin to the TORC races in Crandon or Bark river this year, could have a little meet at those races if interested

just found out that crandon raceway is also havin another event called the super truck challenge July4-6. they are have rock crawling, mud drags, mud bog, tug-of-war, burn out contest, car show, and i even think you can race on the track....something to think about
