I guess you gotta know where to look. I've found one 5 min outside Milwaukee, and its been confirmed by the local DNR Warden that we can drive on this land. Its not as big as the Badlands or anything, but its still a spot.

If you feel like a drive to Milwaukee, there is a spot near me.

One thing the PO did right on my truck. Front tow hooks.

Thats about the only thing I'm thankful for.

If you do a quick fix with some wire or a hanger you can swing by my place once I get back from vaca and I can weld it for you. I get back late Monday night.

No kidding. Less mud, and since things would be frozen we'd be able to get around to more places.

I'm glad no one knows about that place, keeps it better for those of us who do know about it.

I laugh at those who just assume its illegal.

Default Outside Madison Area

1992 Jeep XJ. I have old album on here from last year. I have not done any exterior mods. I am only keeping it running and have put about 2 or 3 k into it. Its in the shop getting the Neutral Safety switch and relay checked along with the starter. I love this XJ but want an Wrangler in a couple of years too. I decided not to try and fix any exterior problems and just keep it running. I have replaced most every thing on here that is common to older Jeeps. Like I said, I get laughed at by Wranglers and new Jeeps but this jeep has plenty of power on the road.

Otter St fishing club is doing some big shindig on the ice this weekend. I see part of it includes some 4x4 races on the ice at noon Saturday. It's on Miller's bay in Menomonee Park in Oshkosh, but that's about all I know. Also having bike races at 11am. I'll probably go check it out since it's only a few blocks from my house if I don't end up doing the other thing I have going this weekend. Just thought some of the guys around here might like to check it out.
