4:56's are ideal for 35's. on top of that 35's are the max tire size you can go in D30/D35/8.25 axles with a chance of breaking them. 4:10's are ideal for 33's

That's what I'm running also. It's the perfect match up.

Yeah I'm running the stock gearing with 31s and It's not terrible I just think 4:10 would be a little more ideal

Hi fellas,

I'm half way through installing my 3in suspension lift and was wondering if 33's would fit. Any comments/suggestions? Thanks -sam

With lots of cutting and you will be rubbing quite a bit. I would not recommend running 33s you just going to eat up your tires. Running 31s would be better. On my old Cherokee I had a 3in lift with 33s my turning radius was like a f350 and I rubbed alot going over speed bumps.

Nah you can do 33s just get a set of rims with good back spacing. And bump stop.

Right now I'm runnin GG at2's but they look stupid with the lift because they are small and narrow
Next step is tires then maybe extra lights and bumpers/ safari rack

Yea those spacers will help are you on a stock rim? I'm on stock ravines with31x10.50 tires and I rub on the lcas abit at full lock. Rims with 3.75 or4.00 back spacing you should be fine with33x12.5

Bump stops limit your up travel keeping your tires from going to far up in to you fender

**** we were all there at some point you don't just wake up and know a$$ loads about Cherokees lol which would be nice. Ya it's not impossible just a couple extra steps you need to take to fit 33s

Do you have recovery points on your xj? What do you want to do with your rig?
