That would be a cool swap too. Might be a tight fit. Mine is just a toy so I will prob leave The motor stock.

it fits well from the swaps i've seen and the engine is 60lbs lighter believe it or not

there like 1500 - 3000 for a used engine with everything on it little pricey

It's just an updated one, has more power, same reliability, only 4.0 to be wary of would be '00+, then you have the crack prone 0331 head, although I've had 2 2000 XJ's and had no problems with that.

The HO came out when Chrysler redesigned the electrical and the head. 90- are the renix system which can be more troublesome to diagnose due to lack of scan tools for it

so any one doing anything to jeeps lately?

mine is on back burner for a little bit getting house fixed. but I am hoping the next time I am off to get everything hooked up and going.
