11th Century engines are garbage... I'm sorry I couldn't resist... can't say I know anything about the T-Birds though. Sounds like a good swap to me though, so long as that V8 has good torque.

Guess I should proof read before hitting send.. its a couple hundred pounds lighter and has pretty good torque.

222 hp and 315 tq. Just not too sure of the supercharger set up. Peake tq is around 3000 rpm, not ideal for crawling but might work?

Agree, dont really want a monster engine, too much power breaks drivetrain parts. Lol. Just need a little more than the 4.0 can put out without major work

Sounds good to me, if I remember right our 4.0 gets 235 pounds of torque at 3000, so I think that'll do great. I could be wrong though.

any full engine swap is going to be alot of work. why not build a stroker? its a direct fit

Have the 4.6 kit. Not really happy with it. Would have to do a forced induction to get much more out of it. I can get the complete car for 800 need to find an adapter plate and I think I can build all the mounts.

I have to get the car soon but ill put it into storage. It will be a long project, have to collect all the parts and pieces for the swap. Have a lot of research to do before I decide either way

Yeah I put in a 4.6 bottom end kit. It was a noticable difference in power but not the gain I was hoping for.
