OK looking for some help.. I'm at a loss.. the day after BMR me and my cousin went wheeling in Disney when we were done and heading back home I had death wobble again. I haven't had it in about 8 months after I replaced the track bar with an adjustable one and replaced my steering linkage with the serious off road 1 ton kit. I checked it over when I got home didn't see anything bent or broke so I bought track bar bushings and put them in. The bushings bolt size were a little bit smaller than previous so I bought new grade 8 bolts, nuts, washers and lock washers. That didn't help. So I welded the washer to the brackets thinking maybe they were allowing everything to move around because of the bolt hole on the bracket being to big. Well its now worse. I'm at a complete loss I dunno what else could be wrong. So before I go and spend money on tie rod ends and the lot. I am asking for some insight. Sorry for being drawn out, just trying to paint a pic with the details. Thanks

Have your tires balanced... Could have knocked a wheel weight off

For sure, just waiting on the police report so I can get the other guy's insurance info. Hopefully this gets settled by this coming week. Yeah, I have sprains in my back and neck, sucks but very thankful for that.

lol yeah i do need the luck. and i also need the bumpers lol. my rear is the stock with a giant dent in it, and my front ripped off on my trip. so im gonna keep them.

also, just so you all know, im more than likely gonna use it to do an ho swap on my 90, and then rebuild the motor and turn the gold one into a truck, 4 link rear, 3 link front, and do a coil conversion in the rear. full exo, and alot more. my project will be an open shop, so anyone that wants to come and help out on days im working on it, feel free. or just stop by, bring me a beer, and watch and chit chat. but i guarantee you this will be a long [project. probably not ready till next bmr. but by then, im hoping it will be ready for it.

I'm in vinita but I think I have found it. I was looking at it a min ago and I noticed that one wheel is slightly turned and the other is straight. So I gotta figure that out

That was going to by my suggestion. Check the wheel bearings and or your tow of the tires.

Something I thought of yesterday, could a negative rake or leveling the vehicle cause death wobble? I just lifted mine 3" and aligned it and between 45-50 I get a slight wobble now. Wasn't there before.. I noticed that the rear end is a little lower than the front(1.5-2") due to weak springs (even after an add-a-leaf).

Recheck torque on all your control arm bolts and trac bar. Usually don't need a t case drop on 3", so id quess its more of a loose bolt or fitment issue. There are a lot of variables

Checked, rechecked, and rechecked my recheck. Torque is good. I'm ordering shackles either way. Don't like to have the negative rake.

Ya I swear ive done adl plenty, but full leaf is worth the money. Iro leaf packs are. Great for flex but come w a springy ride also. Its lesser of two evils
