Called David Harmon today, verdict is I'll go with 4:56 USA standard gears and a Spartan locker in front and I will weld rear. Wanted 4:88, but he talked me out of it. Pinion is small and locked w 35's it wouldn't be hard to break in the throttle loaded..... so 4:56 to gain pinion strength

 

Anyone needs Jeep parts hit me up, between james, Seth and myself we probably have it. I have two d30 1 LP,1 HP...an 8.25 stock coils, leaf pack for xj. I have some Zj suspension stuff. 96 xj CPU and engine harness 100$ for both on that. Need to clean out my crap

 

Crap, look at the motor I got at work to rebuild.... like I don't have plenty of smaller ones they gotta throw this gigantic thing at me 700hp.

 

Do you have a zj steering linkage,and zj alternator?V8?

 

No on both of those. I have Zj coils and sway bar, Co troll arms Zj stuff is limited

I've been a member for a while here and was going to buy another jeep way back then when I registered... had some life issues that has kept me from getting one, but here i am... a new proud owner of a '97 xj !!!!! just picked it up the other day...

look forward to meeting some of you guys someday soon, my jeep is pretty stock but that doesn't mean it wont perform hopefully when time/money allows I can do some mods with the help and advice of this forum...

my names Rob btw, and I live just west of Tulsa....I look forward to participating and learning as much as I can here... last jeep I had was an '88 comanche I still swear it was the best vehicle I ever had, sold it to my brother at 190k flawless miles...

I tried to break my comanche forever and that sucker took everything I could dish out, it was completely stock....
