Your link is broken. The D30 is a front differential. You either have a D35 or a C8.25. Here is a diagram that will help:

thanks for the visual aid i need to clean my diff off to get a better look. do all the d35 have a screw in plug? because in the pic the 8.25 has a rubber plug and so does mine..i know its also the shape but until i get a chance to clen it off its going to be hard to tell.

 

Don't depend on the plug to tell you. I think they changed them over the course of production. Look for a flat spot on the bottom of the diff, if its there its a Chry 8.25... also the Chry 8.25 ahs a 3" diameter axle tube where the Dana 35 is 2.5". The Dana 35 has bigger gussets from the diff to the axle.

 

it looks to be the 35. once i get it cleaned up i will know more. thank u guys for your assistance. i looked at one thursday night and it got me curious as to what i have under there. it also helps with wiah list pricing....
