We were out there yesterday and saw a tone of XJ's. Just didn't know who was driving what. Well it's official...The Family is hooked!! Wife wants me to buy another XJ so she can play too!! I was out there with our stock XJ and bald street tires, and was amazed what we did with her! hooked up with a group of lifted wranglers and one lifed ZJ. We went everywhere they did except one hill and we almost made it all the way to the top, but got hung up on a stump. Everyone at the bottom said if we had tires we would have made it. Oh and one of the lifted wranglers had trouble in the same area so I didn't feel to bad. Went through several areas of water the guys said was middle part of the doors and grill, but she went right through with no water coming in or any trouble at all. As you can see...very impressed with this Jeep!!

we need a sticker to help identify us in these large groups. I stopped at just about every camp site that had an XJ and asked if any were from the board. But to no avail... I drove down that Woodie lol My tranny wouldnt let me climb anything. We had fun driving around up there tho. We won a couple of hoodies in the raffle and a t-shirt got tossed to us. my son brought his remote control rock climber he had lots of fun with it very near that spot. He was following a line he saw a wrangler take so he felt like a big dog with his lil truck. lol

Agree on the stickers. I can provide them free of charge. We just need to come up with a name or...

roughly 6" i bought a zone 4.5" lift (made by bds) i fudged it. added puck to the front and replaced the 3" adl with an iro 4" full leaf pack. but it's sittin on 35's so that helps with the heighth....
i did blow out one of my welds today tho. gotta pull the rear diff cover and see. i think i broke the welds on the right side or i stripped the axle shaft splines one..... wouldn't know why i only stuff the 35's completely in the rear wheel well and gas the **** out of it....
i will either fix it or buy a dana 300 transfer and toss my 8 lug d44/ corp 14 bolt under it...
i can ask okcjeeper if he minds us printing the forum logo, i'm not sure what he will say i will let u know

i like the idea of using the username only thing is you get into printing variable data and that can get expensive quick. and its a PITA! We just need something that we all will recognize.

The one i was going to use the input shaft was jacked up and not allowing it to seat in the tranny properly. The notches for the pump were bent. The one that is in there now is suspected to be bad as well. Execpt its not allowing the thing to go in gear. Not to sure how a torque converter works but a buddy was relling me something about dumping all its fluid to the pan not allowing the trannyy to engage......
