Well everyone, I know i havent posted here over a year. But I had moved to GA because I had no place to live, and no-work. I had work in GA, and my 3200sqft home back in GA. Now, with my home for rent, and a place to live for 3 months, I am moving back to Houston and will be looking for work!

So I ordered the Hack N Tap and seal. Got my driveshaft finished, just waiting on the stuff to get and should start next week. I guess I need to swing by on day and get some measurements from you Chex

Hey Chex, what are the measurements fron the inside hub of your 8.8 to the axle mounts? Do you think they will be different since mine is disc brakes? I'm starting this monday.

 

come on by anytime after 6 this week, i should be back from work by then

 

will take a measurement for you today (doin blinds right now for the lady).

measurement will be from where the backing plate mounts to (as that should be standard whether for drums or discs) to the center line of the spring perch, then i'll give you the full length from backing plate mount to backing plate mount so you know you're measuring from the right spot

 

measured them, have 53-3/4" from inside of plate mount to inside of plate mount and 4-7/8" from inside of plate mount to center line of spring perch. hope this helps!
