it is on the opposite side of the engine bay from the alternator and a/c.....but then again, i once heard a grinding noise from the underside of my dad's jeep and swore it was the front passenger brakes.....turns out it was a rock in the rear driver brakes.....lol
those sounds bounce off of everything!well i still have a decent laundry list to go on mine, lol

i need bigger tires and a little bit of lift, but my winch has pulled through literally. i went with my roommate Saturday a few blocks from here and played hard. i found a nice mud hole with massive ruts and gave my jeep a bath. i didnt have my control box hooked up when i went in because my roommate said oh youll be fine theres not that much mud. once we were rockers deep he says come to think of it it did rain a bit last week.
i got the nose up out of the mud enough to hook it up and that winch pulls like its nothing. i will still be water proofing the controller box on it just for good measure but for those wondering how well the badlands 12000 lbs winch pulls it worked perfect for me. i was about 35 feet in to a big mud hole and got bogged down. i ended up having to pull sideways to turn my jeep around and then pull me all the way out. it pulled me a good 35 feet in deep mud no problem it even lifted me over the bank with my front tires off the ground for several feet.

Got my snorkel mounted but I don't like the hose they sent with it. Looks like it will leak very bad at the mounting points. Going to finish it up tomorrow morning.
The snorkel is all installed and works well. Now with everything working the way it is supposed to I can hear a ticking in the engine. Its not bad and I think its only some rocker in need of adjustment.

I attempted to replace my motor mounts (Daystar) today. The driver side was no problem, took about a hour. The passenger side, 7 hours in, and still have not finished. I can no get the dang thing to line up. After removing it several times I installed the mount to the motor but can't get the mount to line up to the frame. Any suggestions?
