so after today i've come to find out my xj wasn't very waterproof
ended up flooding it twice, once with about a foot of water in the cab (clean water so it wasn't too bad), once with nasty stink mud (not so fun).
burnt my winch motor (when it submerged), rear hatch won't open (lock issue?), noise from the pumpkins (water ingress?), starter kickin in while idling (again water issue....lol), and airbag light is on
ended up removing most of the interior tonight.
here's a few good pics i took, nice youtube video of the entire trip to come soon.

hey trog, wasn't able to see the clips (due to my crappy computer not having realtime, lol) so we can trade up our vids sometime this week if you want.
turns out the jeep dried up pretty well once the carpet was out, i now have sand and dirt inside the jeep instead of mud! lol

sup guys its been awhile.
college keeps me pretty busy but i still make time for the ol' xj.
anyone ever opened up/replaced the 0331 head? mine has a miniscule oil leak that causes my oil pressure to drop to 10psi, only when idling though. so, needless to say when i wheel it, there is little idling.
also any advice/how tos on opening the dash and rewiring?
when i took the doors off i was dumb enough to forget to plug the wire ends so they dont touch metal or get wet and short out.
What has everyone been up to lately????

So I called DSO and they told me they are closed for the next 4 to 6 weeks. I also called Creeks Edge and they will be open in the morning on Friday. So does anyone want to go to either Creek's Edge or General Sam's Friday?
