Houston area roll call!
Well I just remembered that my wife has a doctor's appointment on that Thursday. It not really important we only find out the sex of our second child. Guess I won't be going that day.

Hello everyone. New to the forum and to Jeeps. Always been a full sized truck guy until my last build (15K down the hole) was totaled while parking in front of my house by a drunk.
I'm over here in Copperfield. for yall that know the area. Just looking to get out and have a little fun.

I have a 1992 Cherokee that needs alignment. The first person I took it to didn't do it correctly and the hard pulling to the right came back in a week.
I live in the Langham Creek (zip 77084) area also. In another post you said that you know some shops in the area that can do front end alignments for Cherokees. Could you let me know who and where they are?
TIA

Thanks, Its funny the wife says I can go, but would like for me t be there. And she means that I can go without any repercussions. I don't get much time to have fun due to work and full time daddy daycare around here. I know Creeks Edge is about 1 hour away. So what is a normal time for departure and coming home. I have to work at 6 and due to holidays I may not be able to take off, maybe a hour or two only.

I've had good luck with Cliff's Autotech 529/ Hudson Oaks. Cliff is a good guy and the last time I had my truck with 6" lift and 35's they were able to align it. He said that the guy he has, not sure if he is still there, is one of the best he has ever seen at alignments. Cliff shoots it straight, at least to me, he has saved me money by telling me to do it my self, and has told me in the past when he as had bad mechanics working for him. He only lets them change oil and little things like that.
Now there is another shop at Cherry Park and N SH6 called Cherry Park Automotive. They done me right before too. I haven't had an alignment done here but I have coworkers who have and he is running 28's on an Avalanche.

just talked with the guys at creekside edge, they said if we call a day in advance, they can open up any day during the week for us (which is cool cause then it is not as crowded....not that it ever is since there are a lot of acres to play around in)

I'm going to new York for a week so when I come back I'm probably going to creekside or dso
So I got my Dana 44 all pulled apart, but not sure I want to start building it yet. I need to find the drum brake backing plates. Not sure I want to spend the money on disc brakes that would put me well over 1200 for the build. I didn't want to put that much in.
I need a master rebuild kit with all bearing and seals and new carrier and 4.10 gears for front and back.
