Ok I'm back in Texas. Are there any rides coming up or anybody going out to have some fun in the next few weeks. Any day works for me week day or end. I am also pretty handy with a wrench so if you need some help I can do that too. I am in Crowley.

 

I'll be out at the next night ride at Bridgeport ohv park.
Don't have a date yet though

 

Do you have to have a OHV tag to run out there?

 

"Supposed" to but the park doesn't care.

 

Oh ok. Well I put my Jeep back together enough to drive it around a little bit today and realized that I really need to get it in decent running condition before I trail ride. I have been out of the US for 2 months and forgot how rough it is and my DW issue is still around. So I am going to rebuild the front end with new parts and I'm probably getting some of that from the tires I have. I am going to need to hit up a junk yard or two for some other things and future projects. That being said what JY in the area do you guys like to go to? I will be looking for a range of parts not only Jeep but Ford and Chevy as well.

 

All the pick n pulls are good, the one in west Dallas has the most cherokees.
Get that thing running man I need a Cherokee to wheel with!

 

hey all, new to the forum… no pics yet but i now own my first xj, 97 sport on a 2.5 rubi lift with 31's, plans for a full long arm and axles in the near future. but id like to start wheeling. any good areas here in north DFW? I'm in the mckinney area but i also have hunting property in east texas that i visit at least once ever other month.

I am a junk yard kinda guy PM me if you want to hit up a few yards , ive got a pick up and aint scared to use it .I do go junking in my jeep to .
