Saw a cool looking XJ in front of my dad's house yesterday in White Settlement/Fort Worth. It was black, newer (97+) 4 door model with a good lift on it and a roof rack. Pretty much typical xj set up. Was just curious if it was anyone on here or not. It looked cool as hell.

On another note, if anyone has factory wheels or any kind of cherokee parts they are not wanting, or know of on the cheap, let me know. I got ahold of a cheap cherokee and am trying to rebuild it. Will have to hit the junkyards here soon so if ya'll know of a junkyard with a good amount of cherokees still in half decent shape, much appreciation if ya'll would let me know.

Check out www.row52.com for junkyards and their inventory. Not all of them are on there, but the ones that are keep their inventories pretty well updated and a lot of times there is even a picture of the actual vehicle.

 

Sorry, been slammed with work, then we went to OKC to see the sons this weekend.

The setup sounds cool, but that's a lot more than I'm wanting to spend.

 

Thanks for the link man, looks like I found some yards to hit! Hopefully I can track down whats wrong with my cheap-jeep and get it running and functioning right. Then I can hit the trails full blast since this one wont be my DD.

No but, I want to ! Still have not replaced my rear axle .

 

Same here. I'm planning to go as soon as I get my rear brake conversion done

 

We go out there a couple times a month ill post up here when we are headed out next

 

Have you ever camped there? Just curious what their sites are like.

 

I havent camped but several have. They are currently primitive sites. No power or water.
