Default chop top xj

this past weekend I rolled my xj down at katemcy rocks. it did a bit of damage to the passenger side of the cab. I thought about chopping the whole cab and putting in a full cage. now my question is being a "unibody" will this be ok to do? will the cage be strong enough to keep it from buckling with all the crawling I do?

If the cage is properly designed with proper material. You will be fine. Plenty of people running full cages with entire top chopped off.

A true cage will be 1000x stronger than the roof.
