pretty decent write up. same guy i am going copy the bolt on tube fender idea from. i think it will be easily done (well not easily but not bad). I dont have an angle finder or anything though.

I am more concerned with the welding process. this guy states none but others describe heats procedures for welding the tubes to center and who ha. If you dont care about heating it i dont care i just wanna know the logic behind it. O and i recruited a better welder (does for a living) he will be doing the bulk of the finish welding on your axles. Your job is to supply materials and help me get it set up (tack welded in place) then he will come burn it all together. sound good?

I got the rear 01 doors on my jeep today so all i got left is to finish my hood, welind in rock slides, and raise my rear quarters them i should be ready for paint

alright, now im thinking of keeping it full width and just getting some offset wheels to make it not look to wide. i found this write up on a full width 44 and it looks pretty nice. doesnt look much if any wider than what mine looks like now. that would make it alot easier if i could go this route. pretty much just cutting the mounts, putting new ones on and rebuilding everything else. got the gears grinding in my head again, thats for sure.

i have found that advanced adapters make a kit for the 205 t case but ive heard that they dont really fit in between the frame rails of the xj and it has to hang down in order to fit. might have to beef up the 231 instead. ive heard of using a rubicon t case in an xj tho...... dang it!

the dude at frontier 4x4 has done a 44/9 swap into one of his old cherokees. i am sure he would help out if needed. my buddy has his ford ranger buggy over there getting all sorts of tube welded on it and he mentioned this to me. good to know, thats for sure.

just let me know when ya wanna paint your jeep. i will come down and get it all prepped and ready to go. hopefully the snow will be gone for good by then.. when you do wanna paint it, it will have to be done in the evenings or over the weekend. i cant really get down there during the day. gotta get my bills paid.

anyhoo, heres that link to the full width build i found....
