I live here now because of a job relocation. I am just starting a new build on my 92 XJ. Had a 95 back in England, hate that I left my tire swing there! Anyways planning on Memorial Weekend riding down to Kansas with a couples of buddies, one owns 90 XJ and 89 XJ, other owns K5. Hope to see more than us out there!

im from omaha but i go to school in lincoln, i got a 2000 xj w/ 4" RC, adding a rear bump and tire carrier in the next few days and i am building a roof rack at the end of the month when i have a little extra $$. but if anyone has spots to go 4-wheelin around here let me know and maybe we can go hit the trails.
i'm ganna be moving to omaha by the end of the year. in the process of looking for an aprt out there right now so i'm out there quit often. is then any sweet trails out there?
Hey, just found this post! I'm technically living in Fremont, but it's close enough to Omaha. There isn't really any trails close by unless you wanna break the law. The closest place nearby is Timber Ridge up in Castana, IA. But, it's a private club and they only have two events a year that they allow non-members into. The 4th of July event is $60 for the weekend and the one at the end of September is $85. There is only 1 or two small rocks in the whole place. The rest is dirt and mud but it's a lot of fun with some really steep hills and lots of off camber stuff. The next closest FREE place is Tuttle Creek ORV Park in Randolph, KS. That has a wide variety of terrain including mud, rocks and trails. It's also got trails and obstacles for all skill levels. You can take a totally stock XJ down there and have as much fun as someone with a 8" long arm running 37's. I only have a 2" bb lift with 30" tires and have a lot of fun every time I go.
As of right now, if I can get the oil leak fixed on my Jeep, I'm planning a trip down for Memorial Day weekend. Not sure who all is going because a lot of my friends are heading further south to Disney, OK for the weekend. Holler if you wanna go. I'll probably leave Friday afternoon and come back Monday sometime. If you do go, MAKE SURE YOUR JEEP IS READY!! Recovery points front and rear, safety equipment, etc. This is for your own good. *off my soap box*
BTW, I've been registered on here forever, but hardly ever get a chance to get on. My name is Matt.

Not from omaha but in nebraska. Grand island here and there are 4 of us with XJ's here that hang out. I see others in town and in surrounding towns. Wish we had better places around here to get dirty.
