Alright.. Got a couple of people now.. Dm startin to make a comeback.. Ridinclassic, have you had those wheels repolished at all? I got everything you need to do that.. Matter of fact, i am doing a set of porsche 911 wheels.. Whole wheel is polished and were powdercoated clear.. I stripped the powder and now shining em back up..

I got sooo many parts sittin in my basement just waiting to be put on my jeep.. Its ridiculous.. If i just had all the skills and tools to just finish it would of been done by now.. I have everything except shocks, brakes for both axles, driveshafts and some misc stuff.. I got to have about 90% of the things i need to finish...

I just cleaned em up for now. I'm thinking about painting em black.

My biggest dilemma is that with the backspacing and how shot my suspension is that it rubs on The fender when I'm wheeling. I took it out to some b service roads last night by Cummings but it was way way to sloppy. My friend got his Xj stuck for about 10 minutes in a rutt. Id post pictures of the mud on the jeep but most of it washed off in the rain.

Anybody here workout out at golds gym in west does moines next to taco bell. I saw a big old jeep with a pos fabrication sticker down there.

Also I'm looking for a set of rear springs and a locker for my Chrysler 8.25 if anybody has something laying around.

This is probably going to be a long shot but if you guys could keep your eyes peeled for my old jeep and see it running around des moines could you please try to stop the guy and give him my number? I sold my jeep awhile back and it was a big mistake i miss that thing and i would sure like to buy it back. Last i heard about it was it was running around des moines. Still looked like it does in these pictures. Im anxious to get back into the jeep game but would like to jump back into the game with my old jeep. Any help at all or if you know the person who owns it now let me know. Might consider paying a small finders fee if you help me find it.

I guess I can start if anybody actually reads this thread anymore. Since I posted last I did a kinda homebrew 4.5" lift consisting of: re track bar, re springs, re upper/lower fixed control arms, bastard packs and shackles, skyjacker shocks all the way around, and some 31" wrangler mt/r. Also ditched the magnetic antennae for a 36" whip, did the angry eyes thing, and put truck bed coating on my rear bumper, fenders and rockers(dont have a pic of this yet).

Oh, im still lurking around here.. Its been such a crappy winter i havent made any progress on my jeep.. Its just been sittin in my parents cold non heated garage.. I did get my rear disk brake kit for the 9 inch going under it.. As soon as we get some nicer weather im going to mock it up and get the leaf spring pads and shock mounts welded on and get er under the jeep!

Hi. I'm just picking my WJ this week :-) I'll be in Iowa for 3 more weeks.
I'll be looking for a few small upgrades before the cross country travels begin. These are the top two on my mind currently but I have more ideas 😉

I would like to buy a QL-jep618 locally if anyone knows who may sell them.

Also may install an auto starter to toast up the car for the kiddo once it's cold. Any suggestions on those would be great as well :-)

I'll install both myself if that matters :-)
