I think he is saying 1% wheel....

I saw you and your dad heading back from wheeling yesterday. I was in my little Red Jetta, when all of the sudden my girlfriend said "Holy Chiznitt!" I looked over to see a Rubicon swerving off the road with BAD death wobble! Low and behold, It was your dad. Then I got to thinkin, (yes there was smoke and it hurt) I saw a cherokee back on I-70 with sliders the looked really similar to Hudfab sliders, It was you jammin out!!

EDIT...apparently we were replying at the same time.

BTW...I will have a new rig on the 7th of July....then we can bump it back to 1.132%

It all comes down to trail pref too. I'm more of scenic trails to run. As to trails that kick the crap put of your jeep every rock.

Also some trails people jeeps just aren't built to run. Like when some people go run penrose. A lot of people aren't able to wheel there

Yes ther was smoke and it hurt???? Hmm not following that one... What are you talking about? LOL

Yeah we went out to Red Cone. Jeremy was suppossed to go still is starter whent RIP....It was a great run and I found out that running a really rocky bouncy trail at 50 MPH on long arms and no sway bar = Freaking awesome..

Im keeping the Xj for a more normal rig and the Buggy for Crazy stuff like penrose. Starrting more work on it soon. Got a new aluminum racing radiator( those things be expensive ) a new aluminum fuel cell. Getting the rear cage done and everything installed. Getting the coil overs and links all figired out. Gonna be a bad rig.

But back to the XJ... We got to the top of redcone and got out to loo around and a few secondsw latter..... my jeep looked like something exploded and steam shot everywhere. My lower radiator hose exploded. Needless to say I sat up there for 4 hours while my dad ran down to silverthorne and backup.. Great view I must say but Im freaking red from the sun lol. Good trip all together. Im itching to run spring again. I ran part of it back in April but to much snow to drive a shelf road!!! I have fully run it since back in sept when I was open open on stock gears short arms and 31" now Im locked locked on 4.56's long arms and 35's. I want to see what happens now. You saw my door after last time LOL oh yeah. I have sliders now to!!!

Did you happen to notice my new bumper. Lol after you saw it last time the sides busted off. I bought a tube bender and a 220 mig and gas and made a new bumper off the old one. Works great now!

Im down sometime soon!!!

Jeremy get your starter fixed dude..... Txt me if you need help.

x2. we all have our preferences. i got into wheeling to go places other people can't and enjoy the wilderness. spending all day climbing a boulder doesnt seem fun to me. same reason i bust my a$$ and lungs mountain biking. but i do agree that if you have a rig built to offroad, you should take it offroad. mall crawlers depress me.

I think it depends on the boulder... LOL sometimes its fun. I got to the point where I was pushing my XJ pretty far... Spring Ram Liberty... Does great. The issue I had was I like to drive it as an additional car. I dont want to flip it or break out the glass ect... I want it to be like an adventure type rig but I can do hard stuff with it. I'm in the process of building a buggy for the really hard stuff. If i flip it upside down I wont be sad. I put racing seat and 5 points harnesess in so Ill be strapped in tight.

I ran red cone yesteray and it reminded me that the views and mountains are great. I love COLORADO!!!!!!!!!!

Im not ******* easy trails eather man. I have no problems running easy ones. My fav trail is bunce school road and bill moore lake. I dont even need 4wd for bunce school. I just love them period and getting out to them. Idc if you run a flat dirt road that goes to the top of a mountain, I do all the time and love it and enjoy it to death. Its not all about the hard stuff, and I know that. Yes I enjoy running harder trails, like holy cross and chinnamans, but I can do without.
