I would guess the map sensor, as you open the throttle it wouldn't see the bigger volume of air and would lean out and stumble/die. But just a guess without see the car... have a spare one to swap it with? its bolted on the firewall to the left of the booster, has a hose that should go straight to the intake manifold for true vacuum readings.
here you go look threw this thread.. has some good ideas to start.... https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/doe...-61325/index2/
I just cross reference and it's the same on my 91 so I'll try that in the morning thanks for the helpOriginally Posted by Gorillaxj

If you swap things from yours, do them one at a time, and make sure nothing changes between parts. or else you could overlook the problem. no problem, just hope its helping lolOriginally Posted by Tobyxj

good good! the ones with cones shouldn't be prone to breaking unless the arm is to thin... should be 3/4" at min, but 1" is best.... IDK, 10 year span isn't bad anyway. glad its going!
It wasn't the thickness of the arm its the thickness between the cone hole and the end of arm, if that makes sense.Originally Posted by Gorillaxj

My honest thought's on it are...Whatever you get make sure it has door's that can be put back on and at least somewhat of a roof (canvas top etc) cause if ya can wheel it year round ya might as well get a dirtbike lolOriginally Posted by alwaysxj

Ya cory has a canvas top in mind but it will not have any doors. I would love one with doors and a top but we will see. It will also have to be a four seater.Originally Posted by A.T.R.Offroad
